Have you ever had to make a decision that could change your life? What would you choose, comfort or social responsibility? Would you save the life of a child at the expense of your own?

Sharmaine James embarks upon these tough questions one day when she hears about the murder of her friend, a Youth Community Group leader. The recreational center would be forced to shut down if Sharmaine didn't step up. Sharmaine would have to choose between giving up her childhood dream of going into medical science or turning her back on the group of kids who are doing positive things, getting out of gangs, and choosing a better life at the local recreational center.

Because of this Sharmaine finds herself in a sticky situation and seeks God for an answer. When Sharmaine finally makes a decision that she hopes she will be rewarded for, she gets into a huge fight with her parents and is kicked out of the house.

Sharmaine goes through a lot of turmoil trying to reassure herself that she made the right decision, always turning to the wisdom and guidance of her faith to give her comfort. Through this hard time Sharmaine gets the chance to share her experience with her two best friends Jessy and Teresa. Both of them encourage Sharmaine with their tales of love, family, and friendship and what a struggle it is making the right choices.

As the story goes on they realize that everyone has to go through a time in their life where it seems like everything is just falling apart weather or not you do good or bad. Along the way they realize that the truth is struggles and tragedies are the things that unites us all as humans, it is the struggle of getting back up “When It All Falls Down” where we all can find common ground.
